TYPES OF PROGRAMMING: Documentaries, features, music programming.

OVERVIEW: Ciarán has worked as an independent producer for a number of commercial and community stations, including Spin South West (documentary production & talk programming), Limerick’s Live 95fm (Documentary Production), West Limerick 102, RTÉ 2FM (Music Programming) and Tipp FM (Documentary Production). Additionally, he presents a weekly music programme for RTÉ 2XM, and reports for RTÉ Radio 1’s Arena programme.

He was previously the Station Manager at Raidió Corca Baiscinn and Wired FM, and the Training & Development Officer at West Limerick 102. He holds a B.A (Hons) in Media & Communications Studies and History, and is currently undertaking a research MA in Media Studies at Mary Immaculate College (University Of Limerick).

Documentary topics to date have included football supporters, the Co-operative Movement, hitchhiking, Irish links to Zambia, and much more!
