Noel Murphy

Noel is Producer and Presenter of a range of documentary/education projects supported by the Broadcasting Authority of Ireland Sound and Vision Scheme.

His programmes have crossed the following subjects; the story of a precious book in a Castle Ruins; finding the location of a once powerful Golden Stone; a series going from farm to fork with Chef Neven Maguire; a series telling the tales of Irish Big Houses; discovering how archaeology is using technology; the mythology of wildlife, a search for 5,000 skulls and more. His particular interests, as evidenced above, are history & mystery and he has been described as having a ‘timeless’ voice!

He has produced programmes for Newstalk FM, Shannonside FM & Northern Sound FM and is based in Monaghan. Noel presents a weekly rural affairs programme and has presented several live event broadcasts and has also produced and presented film documentary work. He is highly proficient in sound engineering and he is also a fully qualified Chartered Architectural Technologist with his own design studio.
