Ciara Gillan is an independent writer and producer. She began her career in animation, working on shows like ‘Garth and Bev’ and ‘Monster High’ for Mattel. In 2012 she produced and presented a biography series for Dublin South FM, called ‘In Conversation’. Before returning to radio in 2015, she has produced several award winning short films and the VFX for Oscar nominated film, ‘Brooklyn’ and Irish film ‘The Hallow’. She has also worked on projects for Netflix, RTE and The History Channel.
In 2015, Ciara was one of 9 international candidates selected for a highly regarded audio production training programme called Transom, in Cape Cod. She has since worked with Irish and American producers. Ciara enjoys writing and producing her own projects, but is always looking for new opportunities and chances to develop the Irish audio industry.
