AIRPI is proud to present – a Saturday Session with Jens Jarisch…
AIRPI’s Saturday Sessions Series continues on January 26th, 2013 with award winning German independent radio producer and documentarian Jens Jarisch.
When: Saturday January 26th, 2013
Where: Clarion Hotel, IFSC, Dublin 1
Time: 10am – 4.30pm
Jens Jarisch has spent half his life in Berlin, where he currently works as a radio documentary editor for the German broadcaster Rundfunk Berlin-Brandenburg. He has squandered valuable years studying literature, occupying himself with random travels to peculiar places along the way. Spellbound by the world’s sound, he began recording what he found most difficult to grasp, trying to reveal the hidden and make it audible. Jarisch’s twelve year’s work as an independent producer runs to sixteen documentaries and has been awarded with several national and international media prizes.
AIRPI is delighted to welcome Jens to Dublin to give an exclusive masterclass to its members and help them further develop their creative production skills. This is a great opportunity to be in the company of one of Europe’s most decorated independent radio producers and to learn how to further improve your work through his advice and tutelage.
Don’t miss this creative documentary masterclass which is sure to enlighten and enthuse.
Members are encouraged to bring a short audio sample of their work (5 minutes max) to get constructive feedback from Jens and the group – should time permit.
Lunch and refreshments will be provided on the day.
Places on this masterclass are limited so please book your space by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org today!
Please bear in mind that no-shows cost AIRPI and its members valuable resources so please only sign-up if you are certain you will attend.
This event is for AIRPI members only. Not a member yet? Then email email@example.com to join.

Request for AIRPI members to register for survey on access to finanance.
In various studies, access to finance has been pointed out as a core barrier to growth for many cultural and creative companies. The European Commissionwants to learn more about the financing needs and access to finance of the cultural and creative sectors across Europe. Therefore, as a part of a larger study, the European Commission has commissioned IDEA Consult to run an online survey from mid-February to mid-March 2013. It will be available in the three official languages of the European Union (English, French and German).
As we have no European wide database to start from, we are asking for your help.
As you probably have access to plenty of cultural and creative organizations, you could trigger them to register, and / or to follow us on Twitter (@EUforcreativity) so we can invite them to participate in the survey as soon as it is available online.
« Spread the link www.eu-for-creativity.eu and/or our Twitter page@euforcreativity to your contacts, through your own website, newsletter, Twitter, or Facebook account.
« Register on www.eu-for-creativity.eu. We will inform you of the launch dateand send ready-made supporting communication materials (texts in English, French and German, logos) that you can use to spread the message.
More information on this study is available at www.eu-for-creativity.eu. If you have any questions, do not hesitate to contact us by email at firstname.lastname@example.org or by phone at +32 2 300 85 04.
