Clare works as an independent radio producer and pat-time radio /media teacher based in Dublin. Her documentary work can be heard on RTE radio 1’s Documentary on One site.
She has also produced a series for RTE Choice, “Recipes from the Lost and Found” as well as series for Sunshine 106.8. She was responsible for membership on the last AIRPI steering committee.
In that role the difficulties facing independent producers in recessionary times was clear. The AIRPI Steering committee aims to support our members with the tough challenges presented by the current market. In addition we’re committed to seeking out new opportunities and markets, through our extensive training programme and though the networking and community that AIRPI represents.

Ciarán has worked as an independent producer for a number of commercial and community stations, including Spin South West (documentary production & talk programming), Limerick’s Live 95fm (Documentary Production), West Limerick 102, RTÉ 2FM (Music Programming) and Tipp FM (Documentary Production). Additionally, he presents a weekly music programme for RTÉ 2XM, and reports for RTÉ Radio 1’s Arena programme.

Daithi is an award-winning independent radio producer, writer and director. His passion lies in radio drama and creative audio, including features and documentaries. He has received critical acclaim for his work on the dramas Tom Crean and the Terra Nova Expedition and The Levellers. Having recently completed an MA in Irish media studies, Daithi is currently continuing his research at doctorate level with a study into audience participation in Irish radio. Daithi has a wealth of industry training and experience which he hopes will benefit the association and its members.

John runs Headland New Media, which writes and produces the radio documentary series Rambling House, heritage tours, the GPS audio travel service racontour™, as well as apps such as the Donegal app and general copywriting. Formerly an IT lawyer, John was a latecomer to Social Media, but is now a convert and an avid follower of Facebook, LinkedIn, Flickr, YouTube, Wikipedia, and particularly Twitter. He has recently set up both Twitter & Facebook pages for AIRPI.

Brian Gallagher is a full-time writer/producer whose play DEPARTURE POINT, was a prize winner in the Irish Stage and Screen playwriting competition. He has adapted his plays DUET, FITTING IN, BROTHERS AND SISTERS and CAPTIVES for RTE radio, and his work has been produced and published in Ireland, Britain, and Canada. He is the author of the novels INVINCIBLE, FLIGHT, PAYBACK, PURSUIT, ACROSS THE DIVIDE, and TAKING SIDES.
He collaborated with composer Shaun Purcell, writing the book and lyrics for the musical LARKIN, which was the opening production at the Liberty Hall Theatre, and they also collaborated on WINDS OF CHANGE, a musical broadcast by RTE Lyric FM, and on SONGS OF REJOYCING, a musical documentary, broadcast on East Coast FM. In the last two years he wrote and produced the documentaries/dramas BRIDGING THE GAP, THE CREAMERY AT THE CROSSROADS, BRAY ROADSHOWS, A JOB FOR LIFE and BALLROOM BELLES.
